For over 50 years, our workshop and showroom in the heart of Camberwell Junction has been operating to offer Melbournians an extensive range of premium furniture, both handcrafted locally and exclusively imported from Italy.

History
Salvatore Angelo (known as Sam), migrated to Australia in 1959 from Trapani, Italy. He had completed an apprenticeship in Italy for Cabinet Making.
Sam immediately found employment with Ichel Schwartz at his furniture store and worked as a craftsman for the next 18 years. It was in 1977, that Sam Angelo took over the business from Ichel Schwartz. As they enjoyed a trustworthy and honorable friendship, Sam decided to include Ichel’s name in the new business name. It was then that Schwartz and Angelo Fine Furniture was re-created, owned soley by Sam Angelo.
Sam’s son, Vic Angelo, joined the business in 1992. Vic soon became a very well-known French polisher and fine craftsman himself. His hands on training and dedication, together with Sam’s great knowledge of fine furniture, has made them leaders in their field. They are both highly recognised in the community, having been operating for over 50 years at Camberwell Junction.
